Hello. I have been on the music scene for the past 30 years. I am a Berklee College of Music graduate, and during my musical career, I have played with great musicians in the New England area, local big bands, blues and world music groups. I lead my own group that is spirited, innovative, and musical. My cds Shades, Ways, Encounters, and IV, have received excellent reviews. I teach bass, guitar and Ukulele privately at my home studio. |

My teaching career has been varied from Public Schools at the elementary and junior high level, to conservatories. I'm proud to say that some of my former students have perused a career in the music field, and are now playing with bands and orchestras.
I hope to foster the joy of music for life in my students by participating and listening to all styles of music. I was looking to take a few bass lessons as character research for a role, but I was pleasantly surprised at how much I truly enjoyed working with Shimon and learning the bass guitar. I have a hectic schedule and Shimon was very flexible and accommodating. Thanks for all you help and support! I couldn't have been more satisfied with my experience
